More about Andrea

Ani (pronounced “Awn’-knee”) graduated from AUM (B.S.) and worked as the athletic director at Capitol Heights Community Center in Montgomery.  She has been a cheerleader sponsor, coached children’s gymnastics, and coached children with the Upward Sports Ministry.  She and her husband Bill have 4 children, Bayley, Lindsey, Tyler, and Annsley.

Get to know Ani a little better . . .

Where did you get married?
Bill and I were married on the beach at Gulf Shores.  And no, we didn’t wear shoes.

Are you an Alabama or Auburn fan?
I was raised in Bama family, so I’m an Alabama fan.  My husband Bill and our kids are Auburn fans.  I taught them to say, “Roll Tide!” and Bill has taught them “War Eagle!”  So the girls will say, “Roll Eagle!”

Something about you that most people don’t know?
I was a cheerleader in college at AUM and I can still do a back hand-spring. I can also hold my breath under water for a really long time.

One thing that drives you crazy?
When someone screeches their fingernails on a blackboard. I can’t stand it!
